5 Fun Facts with Mrs. Carol Mertes

1. What is your favorite snack? 
   Popcorn  
2. Cat or dog? 
   Dog, her name is Chloe and she is a (very naughty) English Cream Golden Retriever   
3. What is your favorite sport/sports team?
   Favorite team was the Bears until they lost to the Packers so now it is the Cubs  
     
4. What book(s) are you reading right now?
   She Speaks, the Power of Women’s Voices by Yvette Cooper 
5. What is your favorite part about being an instructional coach? 
   The best part of being an Instructional Coach at Bardwell School is collaborating with my peers and participating in their classroom instruction. It allows me to work with not only dozens of my colleagues but hundreds of children!

5 Fun Facts with Mrs. Amanda Neubauer

1. What is your favorite snack?
   Apples and peanut butter  
   
   
2. Cat or dog?
   Hard to choose – I love them both, but we have 2 cats….simply because I don’t WANT to have to take care of a dog. 3 kids, 2 cats and a husband is enough for me.
   
   
3. Who is your favorite musician?
   Coldplay  
4. What book(s) are you reading right now?
   I’m currently reading 100 Days to Brave. 
5. What is your favorite part about being an instructional coach?
   I really enjoy the opportunity to be able to collaborate with the teachers but still work with kiddos too. It’s fun to see everyone’s different teaching styles – I have picked up a lot of great things from watching the staff at Bardwell.
