Letter from the Principal
Dear Bardwell Families,
On behalf of the dedicated teachers and staff of C.M. Bardwell Elementary School, welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! Whether you are returning or new to our community, we are thrilled you’re here.
This year, we are diving into an exciting all-school theme: "We may all be different fish, but our school swims together!" Just like in a school of fish, our unique backgrounds, skills, and perspectives make our school community vibrant and strong. We all move in the same direction - supporting one another to learn, grow, and succeed together. The values representing our vision of ROAR (Respectful and Responsible, Open Hearts and Minds, Achieving Excellence, Resilient and Resourceful) will help our school swim in the right direction!
At Bardwell, we believe strong relationships between home and school are the key to student success. We appreciate your collaboration to support student attendance, class participation, and behavior expectations. Working together we will ensure our students achieve their academic goals and promote their social-emotional well-being. We remain fully committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired to learn.
Thank you for your continued partnership. I am honored to serve as your principal, alongside assistant principals Mrs. Jacqueline Stone and Mrs. Sagrario Wang. I look forward to working with you to make this school year one of joy, growth, and achievement for every student.
With warm regards,
Mrs. Catherine Cohoon, Principal
C.M. Bardwell Elementary School
