Dear Bardwell Families,

On behalf of the dedicated teachers and staff of C.M. Bardwell Elementary School, I would like to welcome you to the 2025-26 school year! Whether you are a returning family, or new to the Bardwell School community, we are happy you’re here!

This year, we are proud to introduce our revised school vision: Bardwell Bears ROAR!

These values will guide our work with students every day and help build a positive, supportive culture where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You’ll see ROAR in action throughout the year — in our classrooms, in our hallways, and in how we engage with one another as a school community.

At Bardwell, we believe that strong relationships between home and school are key to student success. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired to learn. This year, we will continue to focus on building a strong school community, fostering academic growth, and supporting the social-emotional development of all our learners.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. I am honored to serve as your principal alongside Mrs. Michele Kandl and Mrs. Laura Sandoval, assistant principals. I look forward to working together to make this school year one of joy, growth, and achievement for every student.

Estimadas familias de Bardwell,

En nombre de los dedicados maestros y del personal de C.M. Bardwell Elementary School, ¡me gustaría darles la bienvenida al año escolar 2025-26! Tanto si son familias que están de regreso como si son nuevas en la comunidad escolar de Bardwell, ¡nos alegra que estén aquí!

Estos valores guiarán nuestro trabajo con los estudiantes cada día y ayudarán a construir una cultura positiva y solidaria en la que cada niño pueda prosperar académica, social y emocionalmente. Verán el RUGIR (ROAR) en acción a lo largo del año— en nuestros salones de clases, en nuestros pasillos y la forma en que interactuamos como comunidad escolar.

En Bardwell, creemos que las relaciones sólidas entre el hogar y la escuela son fundamentales para el éxito de los estudiantes. Estamos comprometidos a crear un entorno seguro, inclusivo y enriquecedor en el que todos los niños se sientan vistos, valorados e inspirados para aprender. Este año, seguiremos centrándonos en construir una comunidad escolar sólida, fomentando el crecimiento académico y apoyando el desarrollo socioemocional de todos nuestros aprendices.

Gracias por su continua colaboración y apoyo. Es un honor para mí servir como su directora junto con la Sra. Michele Kandl y la Sra. Laura Sandavoal, subdirectoras. Espero con emoción que podamos trabajar en conjunto para hacer de este un año de alegría, crecimiento y logros para cada estudiante.
