Hundreds of students sat in awe as published author and screenwriter Geoff Rodkey gave an inspiring lecture in the Bardwell Auditorium on Thursday, March 15. Rodkey, author of The Tapper Twins series and The Chronicles of Egg series, just wrote a new book titled Stuck in the Stone Age. Originally from Freeport, Illinois, Rodkey spoke about what it takes to be a writer. His presentation was often times funny and inspirational. Students were engaged as he asked them probing questions, and they were equally as eager to ask him questions.
As a bonus, students who purchased copies of Stuck in the Stone Age got to meet Rodkey one-on-one as he autographed their new books. More information about Geoff Rodkey can be found on his website http://geoffrodkey.com/.
